INVESTMENT VISA 

Colombia’s Investment Visa (Visa M, categoría Inversión) offers two main routes for foreign investors—investing in real estate (M‑10) or in a business (M‑6). For real estate, you must invest at least 350 × the monthly minimum wage (around USD 110–120 k) in a property 100% owned by you  . For a business visa, the minimum is 100 × the monthly wage (approx. USD 33 k) in a new or existing company . Both grants temporary residence of 1–3 years,

DIGITAL NOMAD 

Applicants must show proof of remote employment or business with non‑Colombian clients, health insurance valid in Colombia, and earn at least three times the Colombian minimum wage (roughly USD 900–1 000/month), V Type visa, no time accumulation for residency visa 

RELATIVE OF A NATIONAL

Foreign parents of a Colombian national by birth can apply for a Migrant Visa (M) specifically for parents of Colombian nationals, allowing them to legally live and work in Colombia (open work permit) for up to three years, and enabling inclusion of dependents such as spouses and children under

PARTNER  VISA

The Colombian Type M Marriage or Permanent Partner Visa allows foreign nationals who are married to or in a civil partnership with a Colombian citizen to reside, work, and study in Colombia for up to three years, renewable as long as the relationship remains valid. 

RESIDENCY VISA

The Colombian Residency Visa can be obtained by accumulating time under certain Migrant (M) visas. If you legally reside in Colombia for five continuous years under an eligible M visa (such as spouse of a Colombian, retirement, work), you may apply for the R visa

PENSIONADO /RETIRED VISA

The Retirement Visa, also known as the Pensioner Visa, is a Type M visa for individuals receiving a stable foreign pension, with no age limit. Applicants must demonstrate a monthly pension income equivalent to at least three times Colombia’s minimum wage—currently around USD 975–1,100 or COP 4.27–3.9 million per month—via official certification
